The vision for Pernod Ricard UK’s marketing department is to become the most progressive and effective marketing team in the drinks sector. As a Brand Marketeer, your role will focus on building meaningful consumer relationships with our brands by having consumer insight at the heart of all decisions. As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will work as part of a wider team to shape the brand’s strategic development and lead the progression of integrated and innovative programmes, including above the line, digital and below the line activation.










  • Supporting the Senior Brand Manager in the creation and implementation of the annual brand plan


  • Supporting to deliver multi-channel communication projects


  • Assisting in translating brand strategy into execution across the marketing mix


  • Takes full responsibility for planning, executing & evaluating certain elements of the brand plan as delegated including, but not limited to:
    • Day to day management of Social Media agency / Community Manager, overseeing development and implementation of content across social channels
    • Working with the eBusiness team to optimise online content and deliver innovative activations throughout the year
    • Acting as project lead for Jameson, Ginger & Lime TTL focused campaigns
    • Managing Jameson First Shot competition to engage with film community
    • Working with our off trade customer marketing team to bring Jameson to life in store


  • Is a dedicated brand champion educating, training and inspiring Customer Marketing, Commercial and agency teams


  • Assists in certain areas of brand administration as required






Formal education, professional qualifications or accreditations from industry bodies

Degree Educated

Business or marketing related degree

Professional marketing qualification

Wine and Spirit Education (WSET)


Skills & Knowledge

Technical, specialist or professional skills required, indicating level of expertise


A level of marketing experience


Brand marketing experience
